Appeals

A person or publisher who is subject to an order under this section may appeal under Section 179(1) of the Consumer Protection Act within 30 days after being notified in writing of the decision or order or being given the notice of Administrative Penalty.

Business Licence
Automotive businesses in Alberta, including sales, service and repair, consignment, lease, wholesale and agent or broker businesses must hold a valid AMVIC licence. All automotive salespeople including anyone who solicits, negotiates or concludes a transaction with consumers on behalf of an automotive business must be registered with AMVIC.
